GREEK CATHOLIC MUSEUM

On 2 October 2020, the multi-functional museum complex – the first Greek Catholic Museum in Hungary – was inaugurated with a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone in Nyíregyháza. Although the museum is still under construction, the institution has already organised an exhibition in Budapest entitled The Light of Thy Countenance. DE_FORM was responsible for the overall visual identity of the museum and the first exhibition. The logo and identity reflect the arched windows of the new museum's façade and the shape of the Greek Catholic iconostasis. The aim was to create a branding that could represent traditional values as well as modern ones. The exhibition installation was designed and built by Planbureau.
